I have worked out for as long as I can remember, while it was step classes, kickboxing or spin classes, I always wanted to take care of myself and stay fit. Now that I am in my late 30’s, I wanted step out of my comfort zone and dabble in weight training. I no longer want to do endless hours of cardio, I want to be strong and build muscle. I wanted to lift weights like I see others in the gym and be comfortable and know what I am doing. This is a whole new ball game! I decided to start training with a longtime friend of mine Angela Yeo whom I watched transform her body the past few years into a beautifully sculpted machine. Not only did Angela provide a very clean, comfortable environment at Total Nutrition, she took the time to really focus on ME during our training sessions. With her knowledge and experience, she really took the time to educate me on what we were doing, tell me how to do each exercise correctly and which muscles we were working on. Angela was my biggest cheerleader and even if I was having a bad workout day or just not feeling it, I always left our sessions feeling worked and awesome! She pushed me to do things I never thought I could do in the gym. I definitely saw a change in my shape for the first time in years and I am now stronger than I was in my 20’s.
